Hilda will be appearing at the San Luis Obispo County Democrats’ booth at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles on Saturday, July 25^th, 2009 from noon to eight.

The appearance marks the beginning of the Hilda Zacarias 33^rd Assembly District Listening Tour. Hilda will be spending weekends in various cities and towns throughout the district to further understand the concerns and aspirations of residents of the district.

“Being a lifelong resident of the Central Coast has instilled in me a deep pride in the sense of community found in many of our cities and towns,” Hilda said. “Sharing stories, frustrations, hopes and dreams is something that happens everyday – sometimes it’s at the post office, sometimes at the little café downtown.”

Hilda will be spending the weekend of August 7^th and 8^th in Atascadero with future dates scheduled throughout San Luis Obispo and North Santa Barbara Counties.

“This listening tour is inviting the community to share their stories, and yes, their frustrations,” Hilda said. “It is their stories that I will take to Sacramento.”
